I haven't been able to update this site due to a computer problem. I will keep this site

Our Girls Varsity is currently is in 3rd with Saugus in 1st followed by Valencia. League finals count double,
so if our Girls beat Valencia we will tie for 2nd. Also, the league finals are scored using invitational scoring, not
dual meet scoring. For an individual to gualify for CIF he (or she) must place in the top 6 and not be on
a qualifying team.

Our team time in 2010 was 81:51. This years team ran 81:30! Last year Zach finished 20th in the Sophomore
race in 17:12. This year he placed 8th in the Jr race in 15:32 (1:40 PR!) . But the Girls WOW!!! Last year
our team time was 105:21 and our fastest time was 20:35. This year our team time was 98:22 (This is a 7:00

Coach, I just wanted to let you know our program will be hosting a free 5k the morning of New Year's Eve, Friday, Dec. 31st.
I would love to see as many local athletes out there as possible. It's a super low-key race, but it should be a good time. We'll have
a free pancake breakfast after the race for all participants, as well as be giving out some Master's gear to age group winners - it's
going to be a fun time! If you're interested in having any of your athletes race, please feel free to forward them this email. REGISTRATION

Stephen Kent in green #33 running for Cal Poly Pomona
This from Stephen Kent: The race was the D2 West Regionals, it was in Bellingham, WA.
We arrived Friday afternoon, and there was no rain, everything was just wet, we went out and jogged the
course, it was all very green and an awesome course. Friday night around 7:45 it started to snow, a lot.
When I woke up everything was really white, and we got to the course and the temperature was around
28-30 degrees when we raced, about 4 inches of snow and mud underneath made the course extremely
hard to run, the distance was a 10k. I was the 2nd man on the team, right behind our number one, I placed
29th in 33:16, our 5 man gap was only 22 seconds! Unfortunately, our team was 5th place even with that,
and only the top 4 teams move on to nationals. However, our girls team was 4th, and they made nationals.
So now my college cross country career is over, and it's time to rest and then gear up for track and set some
new pr's and try for a provisional qualifier for nationals
